The 'Create Strong Password' feature in the Firefox Password Manager is an excellent feature, and extremely useful. Occasionally, however, on some websites whatever mechanism that invokes the Create Strong Password widget fails to recognize that you are in fact creating a new password. Firefox does recognize, upon login, that a credential has been created and offers to save that credential, so I believe it may just be perhaps a mislabeled form or field, which you obviously cannot control.

In this instance however, the user must supply their own unique password, which is probably not as secure as one generated through the Create Strong Password widget.

I believe it would be beneficial to create a means of invoking the Create Strong Password feature on demand, should Firefox be unable to trigger automatically. I don't believe this is currently possible. If I am wrong about this, please feel free to correct me.
