sticky email - a way to stick emails to the top of the Stickit window

What I'd like to have in thunderbird is a way to stick emails to the top of the Stickit window. Why because if I have a lot of email addresses. I have to star the ones that are important and that I need to work with at a later date and I need to do that for each emai address. If I want to find the what I'm looking for I need to know something about the content or sender to do a search.

If when I get an email that is important I could click an icon then open a stickit window where I clould see all the emails that are stuck within the one window it would save a lot of time and searching.
