It would be helpful if URLs containing Unicode characters (or specially marked Unicode characters) were highlighted with a red outline. This visual cue could alert users that the website might be suspicious. Additionally, hovering over the outlined characters could display more information about potential spoofing attempts, such as IDN homograph attacks, to educate users about the risks.
