Thunderbird Sync for sharing settings between devices (like Firefox Sync)

I'd like to be able to keep the thunderbird settings, layouts, etc in sync across multiple systems (and ideally, mobile).

It could be great to have the opportunity to sync all Thunderbird's stuff possible using my Firefox Sync account.

For those who use Thunderbird on Desktop AND on their mobile phone, filters, preferences and calendar data should be available on both devices. They should be exchangeable from desktop to mobile and visa versa.

Just like "synchronized tabs" being used in Firefox / Firefox mobile, the Firefox profile could work as a central for exchanging information not only for the Firefox browser itself but also for Thunderbird filters, other preferences of Thunderbird (desktop/app) and even calendars to use on any device?
