i have switched from chrome since past 1 month and firefox is just better. the only thing i did not find easy is the option for having multiple profiles to be used at ease, could be better if there was one to easily access seperate profiles for work and home

Just wanted to toss another comment out in support for better profile management. It's a bit shocking that it's as obtuse (and limited) as it is, considering the competition has had far better options for years. I'm glad it's being worked on, though! Please consider making an option to have a taskbar icon for each profile, if that won't be the default behavior.

Similar idea here: shortcut for different profiles

@ITtechCA if this aligns with your idea, we can merge the two threads (and combine the votes) to help keep the conversation focused in one space. Just let me know 😃

Yes it’s ok, if it merges both functions are related and useful 👍🏻

I was very surprised to see that this wasn't already available for Firefox like it is for every other major browser. Many of us have multiple personal and work profiles, with separate bookmarks, cache/cookies, and extensions that we would like to keep segregated, all while allowing for switching between them easily. With uBlock Origin being neutered by Google, I want to permanently make the switch to Firefox, and so will hundreds of thousands if not millions of other users. It would be wise for those actively developing Firefox to bring this important feature to fruition!

  • @cschneerHello there, there is a way that you could go around, that's what i do, i have different versions of the Browser ej, for tryouts, search & dev y use Firefox Focus it leaves no trace, my Main work Browser is #FirefoxDeveloper , main personal #FirefoxNightly , things variate sort etc Firefox , i also use #WaterFox , so at the end each one has or share profiles and i simply could create different profiles at Mozilla Accounts, and login from the account area in the browser and it will bring everything related to that profile into the browser. There may be other ways but that's my routine. 👍🏻🤘🏻

I created an account here just to vote for this. Easy profile switching is the only thing holding me back from using firefox as my main browser.

Support for multiple users in Firefox

I'm migrating the company's operation to Firefox and the biggest pain is the lack of an option to include multiple users. There are several collaborators sharing several machines, the exchange of user accounts is mandatory considering that the machines are shared between shift workers.
