I just started using the progressive web application (PWA) feature on Firefox  for desktop. Thanks for implementing this! As a user of PWAs (not a developer), I would like to be able to set which domains open in the PWA window vs. which open in standard Firefox windows. This is actually two different features:

  1. If I install the Amazon PWA, I would like to be able to configure Firefox to open all links to amazon.com to open in the Amazon PWA. (My guess is that this should be the default. I imagine it might cause problems for some websites if it can't be deactivated, eg. if Amazon implemented an SSO procedure that made other websites use amazon.com URLs as part of their sign-in procedure.) This functionality exists on Android and was discussed for desktop Firefox here.
  2. For each PWA, I would like to be able to configure a list of domains that would open within the PWA. This list needs to be different than the list of domains that automaticaly open in that PWA. A use case for this might be an issue tracker or instant messaging PWA might frequently contain issues that link to a pastebin website. It would be helpful to view these in the same window.
