remove microphone from widget on android

Using firefox on samsung phone. The widget to take me to the firefox search input has a microphone. I don't use Google voice search,  and have it disabled.  Still if I touch the mike icon accidentally,  google appears and tries to get me to give voice permission. I keep the icon at single width, but in landscape the icon widens and the mike appears. I don't notice,  and touch it accidentally. It would be great if the mike could be completely disabled or removed.

I have the same problem. Google just want to listen, and collect data. The deal is I allow information to flow in exchange for results, not for having the microphone active all the time.

Having said that Samsung Galaxy 10 Android 9 has a vulnerability where the microphone is worthless after certain apps are installed. And the only way to find out is remove them all, If I do that Bixby goes first.
