Currently on Firefox mobile, to refresh a page requires either clicking on the url and pressing enter, or on the three dots drop-down menu and clicking on the refresh page button. It would be useful to simply drag down when at the top of the page to refresh content.

Will this feature be released any time soon?

I'm trying to switch to Firefox but this is preventing me.

Thank you devs!

Pull Down to refresh isn't available in Firefox Android version. Please incorporate this feature.

Been seeing this request for a couple years and it's the same answer.. Nightly build and bugs.  Seriously, what's the hold up?

High fives all around! This feature is now available in the latest Firefox for Android release (112) — view the Release Notes here and see what else is new.

Looking forward to continuing to collaborate with you all here on Connect 🙌

Thanks for adding this feature to the Android version. I actually have a way to improve on it... What if we could enable the feature on a site-by-site basis? Some sites have content that accepts a downward slide as a legitimate gesture to do something within the content, and this could be off-putting if the user swipes down in such content, only to have the page refresh when the user didn't intend for that to happen.

@JonThere is still the following error with pull to refresh: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1813208#a7228576_635881

Issue:

The newly introduced "pull down to refresh" is oftentimes more responsive than "scrolling up and down". This really is annoying.

Thanks for sharing your comments! We're aware of some issues with the Pull to Refresh feature, particularly with overly sensitive reactions to the swipe gesture. We're going to work on continuously improving that interaction, but for now, we're recommending that any users who are encountering issues disable the feature in Firefox's Settings. Instructions on how to disable it can be found in the "Reload an Open Tab" section of this article.

Hope this helps!
