Preview Attached Images

Hi,

I have several surveillance cameras that send me three snapshots via email whenever they detect a moving person or vehicle. In Gmail, these snapshots can be previewed directly in the email. However, in Thunderbird mobile, I need to download the attached images first.

Would it be possible to implement a feature in Thunderbird mobile that allows inline preview of attached images?

In version 19.0b2 inline images are shown in the body of the mail. BUT: Attached images are not displayed (previewed) directly in received emails; they must first be downloaded and then opened with a viewer. So it remains significantly more limited compared to the desktop version.

What plans are there to improve this?
