In Firefox, when I am on a pinned tab and type a different link in the address bar, Firefox opens the new link in the same pinned tab, thus losing the original link.

This does not happen in Safari, for example. In Safari, when I type an address from a pinned tab, the new page opens in a new tab, preserving the original address in the pinned tab.

I would greatly appreciate it if this feature could be included in future versions of Firefox.

Hey, @Agentvirtuel ! Thanks a lot! It worked like a charm! Didn't know this feature was already built in, just waiting to be set to "true".

@myspace, take a look at @Agentvirtuel comment and configure yours, too!

I wonder, nonetheless, why isn't it turned on by default.

Taking a look thanks!

Pinned tabs - Enhance the functionality of pinned tabs by making them uneditable

Enhance the functionality of pinned tabs by making them uneditable. When a user initiates a new search or navigates to a different website from within a pinned tab, a new tab should automatically open, ensuring that the pinned tab remains unchanged
