Please add Avatars to emails with the brand/company logo.

Spark mail already has this feature for years and it looks beautiful. Please add this to Thunderbird to show logo's in the inbox on the left of each email. It would absolutely make the app stunning and organized. One glance and you can find the email you want or need based on the logo or picture.

This is a function in k9 / Thunderbird Mobile for Android, and for same reasons (see above) it should be added in desktop version.

Any plans in this direction?

Would be great if this could be added natively. The extension "auto profile pictures" works well enough, but it's a bit slow and uses a lot of CPU space.

Why is this not added? Every other good app from Apple Mail to GMail has it. Just tried Thunderbird for the first time and I'm about to uninstall it because this must-have feature is missing.
