When i click "Open link in new tab" on the any website, this tab opens in the background and does not switch to it. But when I do this from the bookmarks bar, I automatically switch to the opened tab. Please fixed it, do the same as on the websites.

@Agentvirtuel, hello.

No. When i press "Open link in new tab" on any link on any website, this link opens in a new tab in the background and does not switch to it automatically (its correct). When i do the same in the browser bookmarks bar, bookmark also opens in a new tab, but switch to it automatically (its not correct)New tab Mozilla Firefox

Hello

Try browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground

@Agentvirtuel, thx. That helped.

I actually prefer the opposite behavior. The iPad version of the browser opens links in the background. The iPad version needs to have a setting available to set the behavior however the user likes, just like the desktop browser.

agreed, the function in settings "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" does nothing if you vink it on or off!
Also when you are in your bookmarks with some folders the bookmark menu dissapears en you have to navigate again to the desired bookmark to open the next one.

Please review this function!

Thx

@ImpSlayer , yes. This is exactly why I wanted to enable this setting and "browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground" does not change the behavior of the folder.
