On android each time I click on a link from bookmark it is opened in a new tab.

After I have done reading the tab I push the back button, and I'm moved to the home page, but the tab I have just read isn't closed! After a while I have lots of old tabs that I don't need anymore, and I have to close them. It's so annoying!

Previous version of Firefox (fennec) used to close the tab after I pushed the back button. Please restore the old functionality.

Having the bad habit to open many tabs, I'd love to have a way (personalised button, gesture, the long pressure on back button suggest above, a drag and drop to a bin, something!) to easily close a tab I am on.

Now either i have to open the all tabs view to click on the cross or swipe it which is too tedious, or having the tabs visible on top (what i don't necessarily want) and even then it isn't a quick thumb access to close the tab (tabs being on top of the screen).
