I am a regular user of Firefox. I switched to Firefox from Chrome a few months ago but I miss the groups feature a lot. I think it is a very important and needed feature to organize tabs better. It is needed for both mobile and desktop but I don't know if this feature is already available on desktop or not. But I want this feature for Android.
Congrats, guys! Looks like Mozilla has finally listened and introduced Tab Groups to Firefox Nightly. It's still buggy, needs a lot of work. From the looks of it, it's going to be almost exactly like Chrome, with tab groups being saved and available in a separate section even if you remove it from the Tabs section.
Just a small request to Firefox team, please add Tab group API support for extensions as you build it, so I can use extensions to manipulate Tab Groups. Microsoft Edge Android has it, and it has done wonders.

FINALLY, Firefox Mobile's Quality of Life update is here!
With this feature, Imma be fully in the Firefox ecosystem now.
Yes! Tab Groups are (finally) coming to mobile Android very soon! An early version is currently available in Nightly and we would love your feedback!! Tell us what you want!
Tab groups are coming to Firefox on Android - and we need your help shaping the feature. The team working on this highly requested feature has just kicked off a discussion thread right here on Connect:
I love Firefox for desktop but have been having a hard time transitioning on mobile (Android) from Chrome. The tab grouping feature offered in Chrome is a key reason for my loyalty, but if Firefox adopted it I would jump over in a heartbeat. From searching online, it seems that this would be a popular feature that is widely wanted.
