Menu Bar in Thunderbird

Status: New idea

Isn't there a sort of custom/convention that the Menu Bar is above the button bars. Call me old fashioned but I would really like it to be back there.

PS Thunderbird is a great App and I am really happy to support it. Well done everyone!

would be really great to let the user decide, how it should look like ... its so confusing to have the menu bar underneath the quick bar. if the quick bar could be disabled/unshown it would be okey too ...
