In Thunderbird Contacts: one click copy of email, phone number, address

I need a copy of a conact email (or phone number, or  home  address). Therefor I

1. Navigate to Contacts / and  find the contact
2. Next to the email there is a copy symbol that copies the entry to the clipboard
3. I paste the copied content in any other application

I save time and I am confident I paste the complete entry.
