Status: New idea

Please remove the recently-added Firefox logo on New Tabs.  Splashing this logo across the top of the user area causes shrinkage in the user logos and titles for shortcuts.  My New Tabs have 32 shortcut logos and looked great until your last update.  Now they're all scrunched down, the titles are cut off, and there is a lot of wasted space in the left and right margins.  In short, you made a mess of things by inserting the Firefox logo where the only person who will see it is the person who installed and is using it.  Please see attached screenshot.  I do not have a screenshot of what my New Tabs looked like before your recent change.  The shortcut logos were simply larger, more spread out, and the titles weren't cut off.

Thank you.

This is not a new idea, every time Firefox issues a release, we have to fight to get the logo removed in newtab. As others pointed out, add a flag somewhere to show/noshow the logo in newtab.

This conversation has been going on for over a year almost and is falling on deaf ears.  Ridiculous that the huge logo is being forced on us with no way to remove it.

A lot of poor ideas in Firefox recently - this is one of them.

Why do we need to see the logo? Maybe you should add it to Chrome?

I'm getting sick of having to block this with every update.
Make it easy. A switch in options, update promises "personalize your homepage"
Make good on that promise.

I'm going to stop updating and eventually move to another browser.

I've made quite a big effort trying to solve this problem. This is what I was able to design after a week of hard work. I'm exhausted now and need some rest. @mozilla feel free to use it.
