Gmail Calendar Integration into Thunderbird

Hello Team,

Was wondering why the calendar available in thunderbird cannot be integrated or synced to paent email account.

This enables the user to view all events created either mail client or the parent mail app (in this case GMail). This will also minimise dependency on third party addon. For example, i added the extension Google mail calendar Tab. But the event created on thunderbird does not reflect in the Gmail and or the event created using the extension is not synced to thunderbird calendar window.
