Folder pane on right side

Hi, Thunderbird developers!

This will definitely not be a popular request, but for more customization options, it would be nice to have option to switch the folder pane on the opposite side as well. Arabic users and old Eudora users would appreciate it IMHO 🙂

The latest update is a nightmare!

I have the folder view open, layout set to vertical but when I open a message the message pane springs to full width covering the folder pane. The constant screen flashes as it switches from one layout to another are bringing on a migraine, heaven help any epileptics. Please make it so that I can fix the folder pane open on the left.

I've tried various layouts but they all hide the folder pane on opening a message

I need the folder pane as I'm managing several email accounts otherwise I'd hide it completely.

I dislike the right side style, but I acknowledge that there are diverse cultures.
