Give about:config to Firefox for Android and let us customize it the same way we can customize the desktop browser. That... high level of customization was the only reason I started using Firefox back in 2006 and why I still prefer Firefox for the desktop to any other browser.

I stopped using FF for Android 2 years ago because many pages simply won't load and hang in the middle of loading whereas the same pages open just fine and fast using Opera for Android. Since I was unable to send you feedback about that, I stopped using it. But now with Mozilla Connect I can share my ideas and hopefully bring FF for Android to the same glory its desktop cousin already has.

When I disabled IPv6 on the desktop Firefox last week, many of the pages suddenly started loading instantly bc my ISP, among many others in my country, still supports IPv4 only. So I'm 90% sure that if I can do the same with FF for Android, that will change its performance for the better. But it turned out that the mobile FF didn't have about:config.

Doing my job to inform Mozilla that we still need the about:config feature.

Personally, I'm looking for a way to get notified when a page wants to access my html5 canvas data to fingerprint the browser.

Mozilla, this feature is highly requested, so please listen to your users!

Mozilla no longer listen to its users for a long time. Firefox is dying because of Mozilla.

is this because of pressure from some other organisation to stop mobile users from taking full control of their mobile browsing!? 🤷

What's the implementation schedule for this feature? Is there an issue for it?

Is anybody from Mozilla dev team reading this? Or is this just an idea graveyard where feature requests rot for years without any progress before the platform gets replaced by something new like Microsoft UserVoice was before it was shut down?

about:config is available on Firefox Beta and Nightly for Android, so why isn't it available on the release edition of Firefox? Desktop users have had access to about:config on the release channel ever since the beginning of Firefox, so there is no good reason to prevent Android users from accessing the same settings. I appreciated about:config in Firefox for Android before v79 (Firefox Daylight), and I want to see it come back.

I want to see about:config on firefox mobile. Crazy they can't just port over your desktop about:config file as is to the mobile version. Is there that much difference they can't use the same configuration between desktop and mobile versions?

Still waiting for about:config in main Firefox for Android. Only allowing it Developer edition doesn't make sense.

Agree with allowing this function. Lockdown customization is a must in today's threat environment!

Making the add-ons more open on Firefox Mobile was a great step last year. Great job on that.
No we still need access to about:config to further personalize the browsing.

Is anybody of the deves even reasing this? Or are we just commenting for nothing?
