I have a folding Android phone that essentially becomes a small tablet when unfolded. I can pin 2-3 different apps to sections of the screen similar to a desktop.

But Firefox has no way to open tabs as separate apps on mobile, so I can never view 2 tabs at the same time (without using a second non-Firefox browser app).

On desktop, I can use Firefox split view to keep 2 tabs side-by-side in the same window. Adding this feature to the mobile app version of Firefox would let me take advantage of the screen size more effectively.

Just switched from Chrome to Firefox, and was disappointed to notice that Firefox on Android did not support split tab view, whereas Chrome does. I am using a foldable Samsung and the ability to split view tabs is really useful! Would really appreciate to have it supported!
