Right now, it asks for a password when starting firefox, but if I get hacked after that there is nothing preventing someone from accessing the passwords and just click the view button. I am probably not alone in having very long sessions that stay open in the back with hundreds of tabs and I put my pc to hibernation in between days. By staying open all the time, I only put the password in the first time of the day. This is not safe at all. Either don't ask for it until accessing the password manager or always ask for it when accessing it even if the password was put in during that session. That way only someone who knows the password can access password manager.
