Double clicking event in calendar to open edit view

Hi all,

can I somehow make it so that in the calendar, when I double click an event, the edit view of event is opened directly, instead of the intermediate dialogue with the edit button?

(Frankly, I don't even understand what's the use of this intermediate dialogue, as I can get the infos it shows also by hovering over the event with the mouse.)

PS: this is with the release stream, as well as the current beta (117.0b4)

I was hoping to find in the parameters an option like: "action when double-click on event: view details/edit".

Yes, please create an option to make the calendar work like it did before. When I click an event I ALWAYS want to open and edit it.

This new calendar design is very frustrating.
