Customize homepage button - Add option to disable the "Customize homepage" button

"Customize homepage" button is useful for introducing the feature to edit Homepage. But, after the Homepage is fully edited, the button becomes unnecessary.

Idea:
Add option to disable the "Customize homepage" button.

PLEASE put "customize home page" under Settings and get it off the home screen!  Every time I want to search for something I accidentally click on this, as it's only logical (to me) that the search bar should be immediately available right there in the center.  As someone said, after setting my preferences I don't want or need to see the prompt.  As a programmer, I know it could be as simple as setting a flag once the screen IS modified, then perhaps repeating the prompt for 3 days or so in case the user wants to make a change (with brief note of what is happening), after which the prompt should reside in Settings. At any rate, please fix this!

I'm all for removing the button and it's even more annoying now. It pops up nag bubbles to add or enable new wallpapers for various events like the World Cup. Just stop. I just want to browse the net and not have my browser make feature usage suggestions every time I open a new tab.
