Customizable Tab groups behaviour.

It would be great if firefox had options to customize the behaviour of tab groups, Opera implements tab groups very well, they automatically appear when you open a new tab from another. Firefox can go even further and give users full control over its behaviour, some extensions exist but they aren't reliable, and who knows for how long will they be maintained.

I would really love to switch to firefox but this is an important feature to me and firefox lacks it.
