Customisable Colors for New Received Message,

Having customizable colors for new received messages in Mozilla ThunderBird would be a huge plus for users.

It would allow users to easily identify new messages at a glance, making it easier to manage their inbox and stay organized.

This feature would be especially helpful for users who receive a large volume of emails or who need to quickly identify important messages.

Additionally, it would allow users to personalize their inbox experience and make it more visually appealing.

the green little dot is not enough in my humble opinion, also, if we could have the opportunity to ad a color line around the square of the message, that would be perfect, so when we have new message, we would have a colored border on the message AND also the little dot (but we would can choose the color of both of them 🙂 

(You could also add the option to switch between this form of colored new message, or the old, so people that want sobriety would have the possibility to choose too)

I understand your point of view. Modifying the userChrome.css file can be a solution, but it's not ideal for all users.

Creating an option with a form to customize the colors would be a great idea. This would make the experience more accessible and user-friendly.

I hope this feature will be available soon!
