Status: New idea

I've been using Firefox with the Firefox Account for synchronization, so when i reinstall i cant come back to how i left it, but one things missing, and that's is the Cookie exception List (i delete all my cookies on exit, so i have a hand-made list of adresses where i want cookies to be preserved), this could be saved into the account, or a way to save all the configuration into the account, that way if i just need to reinstall NOT because of errors with Firefox, i can still have all my configuration (when signing in with an account to Firefox, it can prompt if do you want to load the last configuration).

I tried searching for this option if it already exists, but i don't seem to find it.

I would like it if when you're syncing your Firefox account across multiple devices, that you can also sync privacy settings - particularly where you can specify websites that either can never use cookies, or which websites where cookies persist after the browser is closed (when you have delete cookies & site data when Firefox is closed enabled)

I wrote a Python script to synchronize the cookie exception list between several computers. So far, it works very well until this is natively implemented in Firefox Sync.

Huh... Still not available. Being multi-platform (macOS, Windows, and Linux), this is painful. With trackers so prevelant, deleting cookies on exit is essential. But allow exceptions helps keep me productive. I have used Firefox as my primary browser for 3 years. This has now become too painful and now returning back to Brave (I was having issues with some sites in comparison to other chromium browser, which wasn't a problem with Firefox). Sync not doing all settings is strange, but especially exceptions. I am not going to build a sync mechanism for multiple platforms. My development time needs to be spent elsewhere and when giving advice to other browser users, they wouldn't do such either (most are not developers). Hopefully this will change.
