Just a detail: on Windows, when I scroll with my touchpad it's a nicely continuous scroll, but on linux (I'm trying on Ubuntu KDE) it is discrete, i.e. it only scrolls in big chunks, which feels really unsatisfying imo. I became aware of this only in Firefox, all other apps that I use (including my own) implement smooth, continuous scrolling, so I am sure this is not an OS limitation.

Making moves

I just upgraded to Ubuntu Cinnamon 25.10 from 25.04 and both scrolling and typing in Firefox are jumpy. When typing, the cursor jumps back and then forward, making me think I'm on a 1980's C64 using a 1600 baud modem. When navigating through text with the up or down arrow keys, the entire page is herky-jerky.

Is this due to Wayland??? Whatever it's really bad and I didn't notice it on 25.04
