Can the horizontal scroll bar highlight positions of text found (by Ctrl+f), the same as the vertical scroll bar?

In HTML/SVG/plaintext documents whose text content is wider than the visible area, it would be informative and convenient if the horizontal positions of found text were marked on the horizontal scroll bar, in the same way that Ctrl+f text search success causes the vertical locations of a text search term's one-or-more results to have their location highlighted in the vertical scroll bar. If this is already a configurable setting, could it be enabled by default?
