Bring back "send tab to device" without restricting it to mobile

Hi, with version 152, the "send tab" is now limited to mobile Firefox. Please bring back to full feature that enables to share tabs across devices, irrelevant of mobile or not. I see that on mobile (Android), the "Share" feature still includes all the instances, there is no reason that it is removed from the desktop version. 

I could definitely live with the possibility to manage whether a device should show up in the list of devices, but stop limiting it to mobile (or any other criteria). This is a showstopper for me, I use this multiple times a day, to send myself tabs from one device to the other (e.g. work laptop => home desktop, travel laptop => work laptop, etc.). This would make me switch to another browser. 

BTW: having an icon in the toolbar for this feature (without the restriction) is a great idea.

This is now the case for me in Firefox 153. Is this a permanent change?

I noticed the following change:

On Firefox for Android, sharing now uses Android's own share sheet on Android 14 and later, including options like Send tab to device and Scan QR code. Older Android versions keep the existing in-app share screen.

My Android is > 14 but there is not option "Send to device" for some reason.

On the same device, Firefox 155.0.1 is installed and the old share dialog is displayed (a custom Firefox share dialog) with "Send to device" option

Notes

The above fix might work on Android 14 and higher, but Origin OS is a special case due to its custom share dialog.

I’m noticing the same issue now on 157b2. On both Magic OS 10 Android 16 and Fairphone Android 15, I see the Android share menu when sharing a tab. However, on the Fairphone I get the option to share my tab, while on Magic OS that option is missing.
 
Are more people experiencing this with other Android variants?
