The latest update removed the โ€œInactive Tabsโ€ feature in the Mobile Browser, and instead displays all tabs in the window in order of when they were first opened.

Requesting to restore the Inactive Tabs function as a means of neat organization and aesthetics by removing clutter. Simply putโ€”if I wanted to have all my tabs displayed like Safari, I would have used Safari. Thank you!

Just updated the iOS app to have my shame of inactive tabs in my face. I loved having things tidy up automatically without actually โ€œlosingโ€ them.

The inactive tabs functionality is why I use Firefox as my primary browser in the first place. I liked that it kept things organized without having to close tabs I might go back to in a few weeks. If i wanted a wall of every tab I ever opened and might still need, I would have just used chrome.

itโ€™s been 30 minutes and I miss my inactive tabs already โ€ฆ I liked having tabs I dont need in the moment become hidden but not lost without me having to go bookmark them or something. Bring back inactive tabs ๐Ÿฅฒ

I see there is an option to bring this back in the debug settings, which is good. But it makes no sense to me that a useful and distinguishing feature like this would just be removed completely, as opposed to turning off by default and preserving an option to turn it on. If youโ€™re worried about too many options in the mobile app, just add an advanced options menu item.
