Bookmark Saves Listing Placement

New bookmarks are currently placed in descending order (newest at bottom). This action can (and does) bury a bookmark out of sight at the very bottom when listings are long. When adding to lists bookmarks should always be placed in ascending order (newest at top), since that new bookmark has gained current priority over previous bookmarks in a given listing. The bookmark can obviously be moved later.

I think bookmark management is very useful in a browser.
In firefox as I know there is sorting in the bookmarks manager, but that's only temporary and doesn't apply to the bookmarks toolbar.
I think the bookmarks toolbar is very useful, especially where there are folders. I, as an academic, am very grateful to the firefox team for providing the best firefox browser. however, whenever i add a bookmark to a folder it is always at the bottom position, and it is very tedious to scroll down long.

I think the warning when placing duplicate bookmarks will help the user in adding bookmarks, the main goal is not to have duplicate bookmarks.my idea:
1. Add a permanent sort function even though Firefox is restarted, also applies to the toolbar bookmarks and folders.
2. Add duplicate bookmark warning function,

An option in settings to list bookmarks in ascending or descending order would be helpful.

please reverse bookmark list so i can close some of the 50 +tabs that i have opened all the time. then i can start using bookmarks again.
