Status: New idea

Sometimes I visit sites that don't code website links into hyperlink format. I think Firefox having the ability to automatically convert website links not authored this way into hyperlinks.  This way I don't have to copy paste when I run into this issue.

If you select and right-click a URL even if it's in plain text, you should have an option to open the link, for example this is what I see if I highlight and right click "www.mozilla.org"

@MrAusnadian Burying that in a right-click menu is completely non-discoverable and bad UI design. Static read-only non-hyperlinked text is a passive content element that by standard UX convention is only meant to be selectable and copyable. Making it clearly and obviously an underlined hyperlink with the mouse cursor changing when moused over it gives the user a discoverable visual indication that it's more interactive.
