Auto Dark mode for Reader view

I thought about a feature that enables a dark or light theme in "Reader view" mode by the browser theme. This feature already exists in Safari.

Agreed, if the goal is to make web content more comfortable to read, providing light on dark/dark on light choices, as well as a couple of other common palettes (like dark on sepia) for migraine sufferers would really have an outsized impact on consuming content on the web.

Great idea, it would be better for dark mode users like myself, this should also be added to the mobile versions of Firefox.

I considered adding a function that would let the browser's theme choose between a dark and a bright theme when in "Reader view." In Safari, this function is already available.

Although this seems to be implemented in recent releases, the dark theme is poorly designed. It uses the same colors for hyperlinks as the light theme, leading to almost unreadable links. Can we get a CSS fix so that the contrast is maintained and the links are readable, please?

I see that Auto Dark mode for Reader view is implemented in Firefox desktop version.

Is it possible to implement this in Firefox Android?

Black Reader Mode

Reader mode won’t go fully black!? What’s the point of having an OLED screen when the reader mode won’t go black! It only goes gray!!! Why is this? How can this be? Why has it been this way for so long? Black reader mode! Black reader mode! The reader mode needs to be darker! The reader mode must be fully black; white text on a black background.
