Microsoft removed the "Maps" app from Windows 10, which means it's no-longer possible to set a manual default-location on that system, as that app used to open to let you select where you are:
This means for people whose Internet doesn't locate them near to their area (for example, laptops with SIM cards; using a smartphone's Wi-Fi hotspot; or some satellite-based Internet), it's pointless sites requesting a user's location as it will often be hundreds of miles away from where they actually are (usually where the servers are located, often the capital).
It would be useful if Firefox could allow users to enter a manual location within the settings. For example:
Manual Location
[✔] For websites I allow to access my location, report it as being:
[ 51.503328199157664, -0.12756588076705666 ] View location on Google Maps...
Enter the location above in the format: latitude, longitude
💡 Most online map sites, for example Google Maps, will provide this information; hold-down on,
or right-click, a location. Then look for something similar to: 12.34567890, -0.123456789
⚠ The location entered above is always ignored whenever the built-in VPN is enabled.
