Add Startpage private search as option

Can we update Firefox search engine options to include Startpage? Other browsers already have this & would make it a lot easier to use on my phone.

its really super ridiculous that i can just add https://www.startpage.com/sp/search?query=%s to search engines in mobile app, but cannot in ubuntu desktop

I don't see why it shouldn't be an option.

In my opinion its one of the best privacy centered search engines and it not being supported by default is pretty much the only reason I use ddg instead of startpage on my ios devices.

Librewolf already has it as its default.

+1. As someone who uses Startpage on a daily basis, it would be much more convenient to have Startpage as a default search engine option than having to use an extension. It would be quicker to switch, not only for new users, but also when an existing user has to reinstall their OS, and by extension, Firefox.

Just as Firefox is the only trustworthy browser for me on all my devices, I definitely want Startpage to be integrated as a search page option in Firefox. I use both programs, sometimes with difficulty and persistence, on all the devices I work with: PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, etc.

I want: Startpage integrated as a search engine in Firefox (as an option) would be the optimum for me!
