Currently Firefox will detect if a compositor is running. If so, Firefox would draw Client-Side Decorations for its right click menu, bookmark folders, etc. However, if the compositor stops running (sometimes I have to stop it manually), the CSD would not be drawn correctly.

Plus I prefer it when Firefox don't draw CSD and let the compositor do its job (ie. initially run Firefox without compositor running, open menus, then start compositor).

That's why I would like for Firefox to have an override option for compositor detection with values: off, on, auto or something similar to it.

Making moves

As a user of KDE Plasma desktop environment with custom (Windows-like) window decorations, called Klassy:

https://github.com/paulmcauley/klassy

I prefer that Firefox would just respect my wishes / preference and use the SSD, like the ones that are set by the system and in this case my own customized ones.

I'm tired of always having to tell Fireox that I want to customize the title bar so I can tick (check) the "Title Bar" checkbox so that I can finally have my beloved Klassy window decorations even when using Firefox, like with all the other programs, where I con't have to do any extra work for them to use what I prefer.
