Add a flag to set Ctl-c/Ctl-v copy/paste to plain text

Please, PLEASE add the ability to change around Ctl-c/Ctl-v copy/paste to be *plain text* copy & paste. I get it, a lot of folks find value in formatted copy/paste. I don't disagree. But for the love of all that's holy, let me change the defaults around. I want to just use ctl-c/ctl-v.

Yes, I know about ctl-shift-c/ctl-shift-v. My muscle memory is entirely ctl-c/ctl-v. I also don't want to context switch my muscle memory for formatting. In some programs (say, SublimeText) it nicely does plain text copy/paste by default.
