Ability to delete Thunderbird messages with Right Click menu

I would like Delete to be added to the menu of a Right Click on messages in Thunderbird.  I think that used to be there, but I am sorely missing it now.   That could also allow selecting a range of messages to delete.  Why do I have to open (each) message, or then switch hands with the mouse to use the Delete key?   Cannot imagine why Delete is not in that menu now, everything else is, but Delete is what I want most of the time.

You can also add a "delete" column using the column picker - "select columns to display".
