My major concern and the reason for this posting is that the MoZ official, posted response was a) use webmail; and b) we are protecting you from possible spam and other bad things. Where is the explanation that "We at Mozilla are dedicated to providing a fully interoperative experience and are working tirelessly to integrate our VPN with the Thunderbird experience to e...

Mozilla isn’t really profitable atm so that’s probably why they’re expanding to the vpn business and so on but i think they’re missing a huge opportunity. They have one of the most popular email clients so why not also host peoples email maybe provide a competitive price to protonmail and tutanota. That’s basically the only private email competition out there. Protonmail is too expensive at 4 bucks per user while tutanota is really cheap but doesn’t offer a way to connect to a third party e...

Hey Mozilla developers! I was thinking it would be great if it was possible to optionally disable URL validation during RSS feed subscription. My problem is that some of the RSS feed I would like to subscribe to are hidden behind a VPN. For instance, I would like to subscribe to the "failed builds" RSS feed of a certain project in Atlassian Bamboo, but this is only reachable inside of my company's VPN. The URL validation seems to consider this URL as invalid. Is it maybe trying to c...

...arty I pay for a VPN service, and would appreciate the ability for Thunderbird to use it when retrieving remote content. Would this be possible with an extension? 2. Proxy through Mozilla Mozilla/Thunderbird uses its own servers to retrieve remote content when enabled in settings. I would imagine something like: Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Privacy -> Mail Content -> Retrieve remote content through Mozilla (Though the settings entry would also be a more elegant solution f...

Starting today, for some reason, the "Get messages" button does not work.    Setting have not changed so there must be a bug?  Same issue on my desktop.  I disabled my VPN and antivirus software but did not help.  I hope this gets fixed ASAP.  Help please!

When Mozilla launched a VPN I was really excited to have a way to 'subscribe' and support the org, in that vein I'd just like to say that I'd pay up to $20 a month for a web-based email client with features like that that one really popular one that's free (unless you place value on your privacy). I don't know if anyone else feels the same way but thought I should put it out there (apologies if this is common suggestion, I'm new to these forums).

...nterprise. 7. VPN support in Thunderbird - Very important for businesses and enterprises. 8. Clean and beautiful calendar - Right now the calendar is not. 9. A better address book management - New email addresses should be also synced with Firefox account, if it can be provided as an option to sync with the OS's address book that can be a good optional feature. 10. 3rd Party sign in for sync - Important for enterprise and business users. 11. Mozilla has invested in multiple startups and p...
