Option to remove add tab button in Android Firefox

Hi! I'm testing out thenew layout for Firefox Mobile. It looks really good! Could we get a toggle for the 'new tab' button for the single toolbar option? I prefer having a longer url bar and keep it clean. I can already make a new tab easily by holding down the tab button. Thank you!

+1, I tap the tab button and use the new tab button from there. I'd prefer doing that over a dedicated new tab button so I can see more of the address bar. On this site I can barely see connect.mozilla.org and many domains are longer.

I tried the double toolbar today, but didn't like it. So an option to remove the new tab button would be lovely!

I also would like to see this as an option. The plus button removes too much of the url for it to be a meaningful navigation aid, and I care a lot about knowing where I am. The existing tab navigation was more than sufficient for opening a new tab. Combined with the gradient fadeout at the edges of the url text and the excess padding around all the UI elements, this UI layout might as well just remove the address bar altogether.
