Window Sync & Recovery has completely ruined my browser experience.
Can someone please explain to me why I would want to duplicate the same tab in different windows? I need to have one set of tabs in one window and another set in the second window. That's the whole point of working in multiple windows, even in the same space!
Now, when I open a tab in one window, it immediately opens in another. What should I do if I want the tab to remain in one window but not in another? Create a million spaces?
If you create an option that breaks the previous way of working, then let users disable it in the settings.

I think you are using Zen browser that is based on Firefox browser, but it's not owned by Mozilla.
You should file your claim on https://zen-browser.app/.

Type about:config in the address bar, then search zen.window-sync.enabled and click on the icon at the end to turn it to false then restart your pc
This is how to disable window sync

This frustration is completely understandable—window sync should improve productivity, not force a one-size-fits-all workflow. Many users rely on separate windows for different tasks, and duplicating the same tabs everywhere defeats that purpose. Features like this should always come with a clear toggle in settings so people can choose what works best for them. It’s similar to how apps like MovieBox https://moviesboxapp.org/ succeed by giving users control over their viewing experience instead of forcing unwanted behavior. Hopefully, the developers listen and add an option to disable or customize window sync.
