Why Thunderbird is copying messages twice in sent folder?

For every message sent, Thunderbird is copying messages twice in sent folder. Just doesn't make sense.

The same for me now. How can I solve this?

Since no response and lack of support I uninstalled thunderbird and gone back to Outlook unfortunately!

If, Place a copy in: box checked, then 2 messages in Sent1 message received
