Why it is more important for Mozilla to update Firefox (especially FF115.33 ESR) for "legacy" Windows than Windows 11.

Making moves

Everyone hates windows 11.

Therefor more and more people are going to be using Windows 10, 7 and even XP.

Windows 11 is continually "supported" and Windows 10 was recently updated.

However, Windows 7 was not.  Those who use Windows 7 (and Windows 10 and especially WINXP) cannot afford to buy a new PC or have tried Windows 11 and can't stand it.

Because they cannot afford to buy a new PC they are people that cannot afford to have their information stolen and lives disrupted.

People using Windows 11 are protected by continual updates.  People without are not.

This is tyranny of the majority against the minority who can afford to be attacked less, like and especially elderly people.

The operating systems of people who use Windows 11 are protected by their updates.  The operating systems of people who use Windows XP through 10 are not.

That is why it is MORE important for Mozilla to update and support current versions of Firefox that support Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista and XP more than it is to update Win11.

Cannot think of a more simple explanation than that.
