Hey Firefox friends! 👋

We’re trying something new and would love your help.

Features like tab groups, vertical tabs, profiles, new tab wallpapers, PWAs, and taskbar pinning weren’t just ideas – they were direct responses to what you told us you wanted. Your input has helped shape where Firefox is today, and we’re proud of what we’ve built together. We’re listening, we’ve been listening, and we’re excited to keep building a better browser together.

Starting now, we’re trying something new.

A series of quick check-ins  to hear where you’re at, what’s on your mind, and what you really want from Firefox. These surveys will help shape Firefox features and give you more direct ways to connect with the people building your favorite browser.

Just honest questions, and space for honest answers.

Help guide our next AMA with the Firefox team

We're thinking about how we engage with this community, and we’re planning a community AMA (Ask Me Anything) with Firefox product managers.

Let’s start with questions to help us plan the AMA, and a fun one at the end.

What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to ask the Firefox team?

Drop it in the comments! It might get answered during our upcoming AMA.

Which topics should we cover during the AMA?

(Some suggestions, or you can add your own below)

  • New features (and why we pick them)

  • Other: [tell us]

Which animal best represents your Firefox browsing style?

  • 🐆 Cheetah – lightning fast

  • 🦉 Owl – wise and methodical

  • 🐿️ Squirrel – a total tab-hoarder

  • 🐬 Dolphin – curious and always exploring

  • 🧠 Other (tell us below!)

Thanks for being part of the Firefox journey 💜

In the olden days there used to be an extension that allowed you to alter the context menu.

Add things, take away things, change the order etc.

That would be nice.

I never have understood why the context menu is locked down. There is probably someway to do this as some extensions still seem to be able to add things like Close Current Tab. But it's beyond me.

Thanks for the feedback — do you remember the name of the extension?

Also, as @Agentvirtuel mentioned here, there is a similar request here on Connect for the ability to edit context menus. Feel free to check it out and add your input to the thread:

Ability to edit context menus, remove unnecessary options

remove all the AI creator-hating anti-creative nonsense from this ostensibly community product.

No idea, but what Pocket now shows as tiles in empty tabs is almost only "clickbait," paid fake news, and outrage journalism. If this is really what you want to promote...

After 30 years of using Firefox, I’ll probably have to switch to an alternative. And yes, I know that I can reconfigure it.

Please keep AI out of Firefox, I much prefer thinking with my brain instead of relying on a machine to think for me

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place for it, but I wanted to complement Firefox on the latest update 143.0.1 (64-bit). Ive been loyal to Firefox on my desktop computer for years, and I must say, this update seems to run at significantly higher speed. We all like a faster Firefox! Thanks and keep up the good work. I’d love to hear more about upcoming features like better tab management and PWA improvements in the AMA. Also curious how Firefox balances performance with privacy

Top feature request I have for Firefox is bring over the "glance" feature from Zen and Arc. It's such a killer feature. Just shift + click to open a fully interactive pop-up over your current tab to let you hold your place while still exploring that link, then either click out of it or expand it into its own full tab.

It was my favorite feature of Arc ages ago until I found Zen, so I switched to Zen, but for various reasons wanted to move to Firefox proper. Most Zen features are on Firefox, but "glance" is still unaccounted for.

Please allow more customization of the sidebar. It's really nice that you can go to about:config and mess with a setting to put whatever website you want in the AI chatbot spot, but frankly that should a) be an official option, not backend, and b) really should allow us to add multiple websites there rather than only the one.

Similarly, please expand the AI providers. Lumo should be there, as should Perplexity and other AI chatbots. Feels like it should work way more like Duck.ai, or even Brave's Leo by combining the chatbots, but right now it feels a bit too restrictive.

I want a autohide (or "show on hover") feature for the whole UI. I regularly use multiple windows with autotilling and when you have two or three windows open, the UI really gets in the way, especially on a laptop screen. This is main reason why I go back and forth between Firefox and Zen, despite the former having better performance. Plus, that black line in the middle of the screen is not exactly aesthetically pleasing.

It can get worse, it is a shame because this setup actually works well for some websites.

Please fix the ability of websites to use Firefox browser in iOS (iPad and iPhone iOS) to uniquely fingerprint the user.  Apple has now done this in Safari. Firefox should too. From EFF.orgFrom EFF.org
