Whenever I use it on YouTube, Firefox crashes. This has been happening for about six weeks.

When I check Task Manager, I see that Firefox is using a huge amount of memory, far more than usual. Is this a bug, or is Firefox under attack?

I'm having similar issues, FireFox is very slow to open / Start on both OS's Win11 and Linux Mint Cin. The problem I'm having is noteworthy on both systems. Slow to start and to open web pages, very slow to load and play on YouTube. Cleared all extensions, history, and stored temp files. No significant improvement. Have 16MB Ram so no issues there. Just to note I have Zero issues with Chrome, Edge and Norton 360 browser. I really like FireFox And will continue to use it if it has comparable abilities, right now I have to go with Norton's browser (modified chrome), until there is an update that brings FireFox back in the game.

Interesting the Mozilla doesn't even bother to reply to these posts!

I asked ChatGPT to Help and found nice tweeks in the back end of firefox which did improve the browser speed. However there are updates since then and havent had any issues. I think it was a glitch in previous update or actually could have been an extension that was slowing it down. whatever it was the problem is no longer an issue.
