When I forward an email it prefixes a lot of useless code or information

I have used Firefox extensively for many years and when Windows 11 went from Mail to Outlook it failed miserably, so I installed Thunderbird. It works pretty well, but the most annoying issue (Bug) is when I forward an email, it prefixes a lot of useless code or information, and I have to cut it out.  (It works fine with a reply.)

I tried lots of ways to send feedback and finally found this option.

Keep up the good work.

Got to TB Menu Bar > View > Headers and select Normal.

(Most don't see the top Menu bar, as it's hidden by default. If you don't see it, press the ALT key. To make the menu bar always visible, press ALT + V, then T, then M.)

Thank you SO much Siffemcon, I have spent ages looking for a solution  That was quick and easy - and works  🙂🎖.

( I accessed the menu bar by clicking on the three horizontal lines on the top right, then view and got there that way to show the menu bar)
