Version 141 for Windows is very unstable and needs refresh every time I open Firefox

After updating to version 141 2 weeks ago, my Firefox browser on ALL my Windows laptops (work and personal) will not connect to any website and keeps trying to connect until Cannot find site error pops up after 15 to 30 minutes. The only way to get around this is to either reinstall FF or refresh. Doing both will just reset all my customizations and it takes too long. What's the point of running Firefox when I have to set up everything from scratch again? It is very frustrating that I had to stop using Firefox on my laptop and use Chrome. This is not happening on macOS, thank goodness, but I work in Windows (thanks to my job).

So this happens every time I start Firefox in Windows (any version).

Thanks! I set the proxy settings to allow Firefox to auto check proxy. That worked. Appreciate the help. Sorry for the delay in responding. Many thanks, @siffemcon !

Try these in this order, testing after each:

- Disable VPN if you're using one

- Change proxy settings: FF menu > Settings > search for proxy > click Settings button > try the other settings

- If using proxy and UBlock Origin, in UBO settings disable 'Uncloak canonical names'

- Change DNS settings: FF menu > Settings > search for dns > try the other settings including another provider

Thanks! I set the proxy settings to allow Firefox to auto check proxy. That worked. Appreciate the help. Sorry for the delay in responding. Many thanks, @siffemcon !
