Undo snackbar interferes with closing tabs in Firefox for Android

When I have many tabs open in Firefox for Android (enough to fill the screen), closing a tab produces a snackbar (I think that is the technical term; an overlay bar) at the bottom of the tab list with an "Undo" button. That is very useful. However, if I close the bottom tab, the list shifts down to fill its place and the snackbar covers the new bottom item. Now, I need to wait for the snack bar to disappear or swipe it away before interacting with the bottom tab. It would be better if the Undo button was down by the "New tab" button or if the tab list did not shift down under the snackbar. I believe the behavior used to be like this somehow though I don't remember now. What I do know is that I have a usage pattern of quickly going through my tabs in reverse order (sometimes closing a few quickly, sometimes opening one, then going back out and closing some) and this workflow used to work fine for me but now I find that the Undo bar is constantly in my way.

I second this - I run into this exact problem and have a basically identical workflow in mobile Firefox. Having to wait for the snackbar to disappear to access my bottom tab is really bothersome. No idea how or why this was changed (I feel like it wasn't in the way even a month or two ago) but I'd really appreciate either reverting snackbar location or finding a new arrangement for the snackbar that doesn't block any UI elements

Yes, thank you. I've exactly the same problem. I usually have a bunch of tabs open e.g. articles I like to read. And when I close the bottom tab, I've to wait for the overlay to disappear until I can access the then lowest tab to continue my reading which is pretty annoying.
