Thunderbird asking for donations.

Making moves

If, as Thunderbird say, only 1% of Thunderbird users fund all of the work they, Thunderbird, do, is it right that the 1% continue to support the 99% who make no contibution?

Making moves

This is true in almost any donation-supported situation.

Many people donate nothing towards homelessness, and even get angry about governments budgeting too much for social programs, but then tell hungry people they should go to the local Mustard Seed (homeless shelter).  Few people donate to Wikipedia but many people use it.  The donors believe in the cause strongly enough that they are just helping however they can, regardless of what others do.

I don't say that it's "right", I just say that's the way it is.
